NextHome Is Entering a Defining New Era with SkySlope as a Key Partner

NextHome is entering a new chapter. With the recent acquisition by eXp World Holdings on May 7, 2026, the franchise brand is stepping onto an even larger stage, and operations are becoming more important than ever.

That’s where SkySlope comes in.

In a recent podcast conversation with Nikki Corbett, NextHome VP of Operations, Taylor Cannon, shares how SkySlope has helped simplify operations across NextHome’s network of more than 550 franchise offices and 5,500 agents nationwide, while also helping position the company for future growth.

Throughout the conversation, Cannon pulls back the curtain on how NextHome is evolving as a brand — and the role SkySlope plays in helping support that evolution.

The Human Side of Prop Tech

For NextHome, the decision to partner with SkySlope wasn’t just about technology. It was about people.

“Their support and their responsiveness is second to none. It really is fantastic,” Cannon said. “I know if I send them an email, I’m gonna get a response, and I’m actually going to get a resolution.”

After years of conversations dating back to 2018, NextHome officially rolled out the full SkySlope suite in 2024, including Forms, DigiSign, transaction management, and SkySlope Books.

And according to Caswell, support was one of the biggest reasons the partnership made sense.

“We have a very similar ethos in terms of commitment to support and basically providing the best level of support there is.”

Why Enterprise Brokerages Are Taking Notice

As NextHome continues growing, the company is also expanding beyond its traditional small-to-mid-sized brokerage base and attracting larger offices looking for streamlined operations and better systems.

Many of those brokerages are adopting SkySlope from day one.

“We just signed our biggest office to date, and they’re using SkySlope start to finish,” Cannon shared. “They’re doing Books, they’re doing everything.”

That full end-to-end workflow — from transaction management to commission processing via Books — is helping offices save time and cut down on manual work.

“This has saved me so much time because I’m not having to constantly figure out where my agent is in their cap. It’s automating it all for me every time.”

A New Chapter Ahead

NextHome has always been known for its strong culture and people-first approach. Now, with the backing of eXp and a growing national footprint, the company is entering an exciting new phase.

And as that growth continues, SkySlope is proud to help power the operational side of what’s next.
